Social Shelf is designed around voluntary participation. Contributors choose which recordings to share and should only submit material they are comfortable providing for research review.

Clients receive the feed recordings they purchase and the audience information needed to understand the context of the recording. They do not receive contributors’ personal contact information or private account information.

Social account connections are used to verify that recordings come from real contributors and authentic social accounts. Social Shelf only requests the access needed for this verification.

Contributors choose what they submit and what they share with Social Shelf.
